Castro's Kingdom

Born in Cleveland, raised around the world as an “Army Brat,”‘and residing in South Lorain, I’m pleased to bring my knowledge and witty style to CastrosKingdom.com.

I’m currently a writer/editor/stat collector/website content contributor/pretty much do everything employee for one of the most respected college football experts in the World, Phil Steele. I’m also a writer and editor for North Coast Sports’ award winning “Power Sweep,” a weekly football handicapping newsletter.

Before joining Phil Steele Publications, I hosted “The WKNR and KNR2 Boxing Shows” for ESPN 850 WKNR, ESPN 1540 KNR2, and ESPNCleveland.com. I also hosted “The Fantasy Baseball Show,” “The Greater Cleveland Sports Commission Show,” “The 10th Inning,” and “The Saturday Morning Show” while also filling in for the afternoon drive “Kenny Roda Show.”  Additional duties included covering the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland State Vikings, Cleveland Gladiators, and Lake Erie Monsters. I could also be heard doing 20/20 sports updates and analyst work for High School Football broadcasts.

I’ve done TV work as well. I was the host and blow by blow commentator for the “LB 4 LB Boxing Show” and have filled in as a guest host for Bruce Drennan on “All Bets Are Off” on Sports Time Ohio.

Writing has always been a passion of mine as well and my columns have been published in “El Sol De Cleveland” Hispanic newspaper, “Vocero Latino,” and “Knockout News.” Previously I was also a feature writer for Fightnews.com.
